We have 100% positive reviews… here’s one from Anna: Mark is a wonderful host and delivers a unique camping experience tucked away in his secluded property and vast nursery. The Babbling Brook site is very private and fit two tents along with a very well-built fire pit. Easy access to an outdoor toilet and water provided. Very near Reid State Park.
We will have four campsites in the back of our Property..all private…all near a stream, or tidal bay. There’s a big dramatic cliff nearby…and almost a cave.
Enjoy Maine the way it was meant to be. Our location in Georgetown, Maine is unique.
A pristine coastal forest is here to greet you. Deer, bald eagles and amazing bird life frequent the area. There’s an active beaver pond also. Our picturesque lake is there for fishing or canoeing.
Running cold water is at each site. Pit toilets for your comfort! …hey it is back to nature.
Your camp area abuts a 120 acre nature preserve you can also hike on and another big nature preserve, the Josephine Newman abuts that one! Plenty to explore and not overcrowded.
On some nights you can hear the surf at the beach a few miles away.
You will have a true wilderness feel but are only fifteen minutes to historic Bath, Maine
To get to your campsite you drive thru our forest nursery filled with rhododendrons to a small parking area, then it’s an easy five minute walk to the campsites. This is strictly tent camping. The general store is only two miles away with supplies.
We plan on barbeque nights…more to come!
We’d love to have you! Much more to follow but for now please
CALL OR TEXT 207 607 1284 for more info and pricing.

The huge rhodo you see in this truck, was picked out by a customer in Bar Harbor, Maine from our vast selection. It is eight by thirteen feet in size! It took two days of manual digging, a mini tractor to extract it from the hole, then carefully getting it strapped on plywood. After that was a meticulous dragging it thru our forest (by five men!) to get it to a loading point. Finally, a delicate move onto the truck liftgate and again, five men pulling it into the truck. Eastern Plant is one of the only firms capable of moving giant rhodos.
Two of our dedicated staff are on the left, Aiden and Nick.

Success! Thanks to everyone involved!
On liftgate, ready to rise into the air
Since the day he obtained more electoral votes then Hillary and then “installed” as president, much of the world has been in shock and disgust at his continual disregard for the law, decency and ANY human value. He and his administration are a fraud of epic proportions. It is now beyond blatant.
The latest indignity he is confronting us with is the child separation issue: of those entering this country, fleeing horrors elsewhere to face WORSE ones here as his immoral administration is now STEALING TODDLERS AND INFANTS FROM THEIR MOTHERS AND SENDING THEM OFF TO WHO KNOWS WHERE!
What more evidence does the world need. Evil IS among us. This is not incompetence, this is planned.
We need to take a stand and speak out. This admin is nothing short of a horror that continues daily. The Republican party won’t do a thing, they ARE complicit. The “left” ** doesn’t know how to fight so the countless millions of good people, like you reading this are left speechless. But we can’t be. (** And the few that do are told to hush and be civil.)
I don’t want to associate with Trump supporters but maybe we have to. Can they see the damage Trump is doing? Has Fox news altered their thinking permanently …maybe.
Please, if you are horrified, do what you can to educate those who STILL don’t get it. Our country is under attack from within.
What is the old phrase, something like the way evil succeeds is if good people do nothing… that is happening now.
Enough …and vote!

SENSITIVE FERN Onoclea sensibilis
This fast grower tolerates wet or dry soil, including clay. Blunt lobed, bright green leaves grow 2 feet tall in damp soil, (Less in dry soil). They’re bolder than most ferns. It is called Sensitive fern as it goes to “sleep” for the winter with the first fall frost, making it a great natural thermometer! Don’t be fooled though, it is tough and resilient. Interesting dark “sporing fronds” rise from the ground in summer, after foliage is mature. They’re perfect for problem areas where little grows and they also cover that area fast & elegantly.
Only $2.50 each when you buy ten or more! Gallon sized root systems, order now, we ship when weather breaks. A STEAL OF A PRICE!

HAYSCENTED FERN Dennsteadtia punctiloba
This fine textured fern has bright green color all season. Its lacy character blends with anything and is fast growing, liking average to damp soil and some shade. A medium grower to 15 inches it can make a great groundcover and its crushed fronds do have a hay-like scent. Golden fall color is a bonus. Competes well with shallow rooted trees.
