Hopefully everyone can be with some family or friends. Let’s remember the millions who are suffering on this day from events and conditions beyond their control.
Those of us in the Northeast are shivering, as record cold sets in. It’s seven degrees as I type at 8 am Turkey day morning. Record shattered.
We have experienced a VERY, VERY trying fall. After record spring and summer drought, monsoon like rain battered us in Oct. Then, a dramatic cool down in November, already with two snowstorms and record cold.
This resulted in some shipping delays. Our apologies to three or four customers whose orders did not ship, plants became inaccessible in newly created lakes! That then froze over! Truly bizarre weather.
CAMPERS TAKE NOTE
Our new mini campground is a success. If you will be vacationing in Maine next year please give us a thought. We have five private and beautiful campsites in back of our nursery on or near a stream. The reviews are unanimously positive.
